I'm Andrii Onyschuk. Art critic, artist, and designer. I work in one of the most famous museums in Ukraine - the National Museum of Arts. Barbara and Bohdan Khanenkiv. (https://www.facebook.com/khanenkomuseum). On the first day of the war, I evacuated the collection, and on the second day, I went to the Territorial Defense. There was a real crowd of people wanting to defend their country, and weapons were given only to experienced fighters. Those who have combat experience. I had no such experience.
My wife Olga and I decided to stay in Kyiv. Do what we can. As the whole country does. Olya found a post on Facebook for artists who can help our army. So I started drawing. I draw everything that piglets and what the heart responds to. From flyers with QR codes to hand out in Berlin to posters eager to cover the sky after the bombing of Mariupol.
